What is text to MIDI?
Sketch a melody the way you'd jot it on napkin: letter names, optional sharps and flats, chords in brackets, rests where you breathe. The parser turns it into MIDI you can audition immediately.
Each token you type becomes a musical event: `C4` a quarter note at middle C's octave, `[C4E4G4]` a chord, `r` a rest, and suffixes like `:8` set a duration. It is the shortest path from an idea in your head to a file your DAW can load.
Tips for better results
Write one musical phrase per line for readable input; bar lines with | are allowed and ignored. Use :w :h :q :e :s durations and - at the end of a token to tie it into the next.
