The service

MelodyTrace provides a set of audio, MIDI and notation converters that run locally in your browser. Conversions happen on your own device; we never store the files you process.

Your content and rights

You keep all rights to the files you process. You are responsible for having the authorization needed to use them. Transcriptions and renders you generate belong to you.

Respect copyright: transcribing protected music for study and practice is generally fine, but publishing derivative works requires the appropriate licenses.

Acceptable use

Don't process unlawful content or interfere with the service's normal operation, including load abuse or automated scraping.

Disclaimer

The service is provided as is. Transcriptions and renders can be imperfect — verify before relying on them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the site.

Paid plans

If you subscribe to a paid plan (such as Studio), billing is monthly and you can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period. The subscription page has the specifics.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
